The base camp of the National Park can be approached by road:
- Palakkad �� Mannarkkad �� Mukkali �� 60 Km. (black topped all weather road).
- Kozhikode –Mannarkkad �� Mukkali �� 120 Km. (black topped all weather road).
- Coimbatore �� Anaikatty �� Mukkali �� 70 Km. (black topped all weather road).
- From Mukkali, there is a motorable metalled road of 23 Km up to Sairandhri, where tourists are taken.
